1940’s New York social club meets laid-back Southern California hospitality in this moody black rail-inspired restaurant. An upscale yet comfortable space in which a palette of warm wood combines with brass accents, rich brown leather and lush hunter green velvet upholstery. Guests can experience two separate dining spaces joined by a hallway featuring a soaring barrel vault ceiling. The first dining space is defined by an opulent bar as towering iron dividers lead to a wingspan of light and black metal. The second dining room features a green-geometric tile-clad bar as the focal point where a chandelier of birch branches and drop-lights fall gracefully from high ceilings. A mural of a black rail bird is painted on an exposed brick wall thus paying homage to the restaurant’s namesake.
